So recently I have been working a lot in watercolour paint and have been stressing myself out because it just doesn't look as 'bold' as i would like it to. Taking a break from watercolour art and going back to my roots along with reassessing how I like to work. I have always had a fascination with strong black bold lines, detailed artwork along with dot work so I am doing more of this again now combining it with simple colour in Photoshop. A little bit like how I created my Bee design this time last year.
Going to keep experimenting and working on my portfolio.
Flash back to this time last year when I was working on my 'interpreting nature' design for the Batsford Prize at university. My 'Save the bees' design was my interpretation of nature, for that a species of bees are dying out and are in need of saving.
Been doing some food illustrations recently so thought i would share some on my Blog with you guys. These two are both done in dip pen with black inks along with watercolour paint then edited in Adobe photoshop.
Recently me and the fiancé got a new addition to the family, we now have a 10 week old Shiba Inu puppy called Shiro. I decided to illustrate a mini Shiba Inu portrait, which will be for sale on my Etsy shop. I also do custom pet portraits so visit my Etsy shop to check out more!
