It is national vegetarian week!So guys this week is National vegetarian week, which is a big part of my life these days. I was pescatarian for a year then vegetarian about 2 years before I became vegan last November. So since yesterday I have been working on this project of fruits & vegetables (fruits to come) which I will be making into lots of cool merchandise! Expect items like tote bags, re-usable shopping bags, art prints & maybe even little stickers.

Self directed studies
Working on self directed studies along with developing and practicing my skills as an illustrator. I wanted to experiment with different colour methods and line-work in my illustrations. I have always wanted to design CD album cover artwork so thought I would start my own project and create a few!
This was a pet portrait for my auntie of her staffie dog Ellie. I tried something different with this one, instead of my usual ink with watercolour I hand drew it with fine-liner pens then scanned it in and coloured in photoshop. This was an experiment idea. What do you guys think?

After listening to the Chickpeeps Podcast the other day on the episode on Eggs and chickens, I had to illustrate a Jungle Foul which is what the common chicken evolved from.

Just a warm up of a butterfly in copic multiliners and spectrum noir alcohol markers, haven't used these pens in awhile but really love using them, so expect to see me using more of them now!
Plastic bottles in our oceans
This was more of an experiment and practice illustration piece to further my development as an illustrator. I created the line work with pen then added colour in photoshop along with combining them with a quote from eco world about the effect on plastic in our oceans.
